Pastor Jonathan W. Pannell born in Knoxville Tennessee and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Pastor Jonathan comes to Emmanuel with years of ministry experience. Pastor Jonathan served many years as a youth pastor helping shape the lives of teens and young adults.

Pastor Jonathan attended and studied business at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina. He also studied and graduated from University of Phoenix with a BS degree in Business Management, as well as attending classes at Liberty University, Trevecca Nazarene University, Carolina School of Ministry and Trinity Bible College, Pastor Jonathan also holds a certificate of Biblical Counseling.

Pastor Jonathan is married to his wonderful wife and Best Friend Ashley, and they three beautiful children, two boys Austin, and Preston, and a sweet little girl Lila.

To top it all off Pastor Jonathan is a certified SCUBA diver, a SC Notary Public, and a former licensed Real Estate Agent. Pastor Jonathan has founded Emily’s House, a local homeless shelter assisting families all over the York County area and opened seasonal shelters that have assisted in sheltering hundreds of men and women in our community. Under the leadership and direction of Pastor Jonathan, he and ECN have been aware the  “Hometown Hero” award from the community and CN2 News.
